United Heathcare Children’s Foundation – To all families who need some financial help inobtaining medical equipment and/or accessible vehicles that isn’t covered by your insurance, here is a great program to apply for. Your son/daughter needs to have healthcare coverage and be under 16yrs old. United Healthcare is there to help!

Valley with a Heart  Benefits (Northeast Pennsylvania Only) The mission of Valley With a Heart Benefits is to   inspire and encourage community involvement in the effort to help, aid and improve the quality of life for children inflicted with serious illness through monetary and spiritual support. 

Variety Children’s Charity Need some help with special equipment or funding for an accessible vehicle.

ACF offers funding for a variety of competitive and mandatory grant programs serving families, children, individuals and communities.

Presidents Choice – This grant for kids is dedicated to helping children who are physically or developmentally challenged.  The aim is to remove obstacles that make everyday living extremely difficult and to provide these young people with a renewed sense of dignity, independence, and freedom.

New Orleans Saints star Steve Gleason’s foundation helps families with ALS. The Gleason Initiative Foundation helps provide, coordinate and documnet extraordinary lifetime adventures for ALS patients.  By documenting these lifetime adventures, The Gleason Initiative helps ALS patients inspire others and thell their story to the world.

Baltimore Raven star OJ Brigance’s Foundation to help families with ALS. They strive to improve the quality of life for them and their families by providing needed equipment, resource guidance and support services, in addition to funding various research initiatives.

The Speak Foundation  The Speak Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people overcome the challenges of physical disability or a serious health condition, by providing social support, advocacy, and financial assistance both in the United States and internationally (e.g. sponsorship of orphans with disabilities).

Beyond Labels & Limitations raises money for research dedicated exclusively to Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2A and to educate on the disease course and associated struggles of Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2A, as recounted through my personal experiences. 

Coalition to  Cure Calpain 3 provides support for promising research into finding treatments  or a cure for limb-girdle muscular dystrophy, type 2A/Calpainopathy  (LGMD2A).






Following our 3rd Annual Celebrity Game, one of the videos from the Dunk Contest which was filmed by Thomas Litteer @LL6_CEO showed Pat the Roc kicking an alley-oop to G. Smith called “Incredible Soccer-Inspired Alley-Oop” went viral. This video was showcased on ESPN, Sports Nation, PTI, DLHQ, Good Morning America, MSN, Yahoo, Fox, Ballislife, Worldstar and many other sports websites. So much worldwide publicity surrounded the event and video that it has climbed to over 1.6 MILLION views on YouTube in 48 hours. It was a very close dunk contest with talented stars like: Porter Maberry, Issac White, Jamil Drummond, Sean Bieski and Steve Ware, BUT with that Dunk, Gary Smith took home the Dunk Contest title.
